A song written in a haunted room at the Palace Hotel in Kalgoorlie. The song writer, Dilip Parekh, claims that he was possessed by the spirit of a dead poet when he stayed in Room 62 and rapidly composed this new tune and several others. The song is about an unfortunate soul who smashes their way out of prison in Fremantle and escapes as fast as possible to be reunited with a lover in the Goldfields. Somethings, you just got to do

Dilip n the DAVs are a multi genre original band from Fremantle who have been consistently active on the local WA music scene since 2006 and have released 8 albums and several EPs to date. This new single is in the country rock style following in the tradition of road songs celebrating the vast landscape of the Australian continent.
